ECIT participated in workshops and in research. Through workshops, we have learnt about how to break up large amounts of data and how to go about getting the data we need to get a good decision-making basis. With the researcher, we investigated how data centers may affect the environmental performance of the SoS and which parameters have to be in place to make a more sustainable decision-making process. Interviews, identification of operations and workflows were adopted in the research. We also contributed in working with the researcher to share the gained knowledge via research articles and sharing knowledge on environmental requirements in tenders.
After the HSEIF project, ECIT is better equipped for the new regulatory requirements that are coming on reporting. It has also been exciting to see how sustainability became a major focus for other participants and the HSEIF project itself.
It has been a useful arena to be part of where the joy of sharing knowledge is great.
